Unsurprising
In other news: Today will be spent in the most soul-destroying manner I can think of. Finding a bathing suit.
Why? Because a week from tomorrow, I'm hopping on a plane to... Costa Rica! Yes, we ended up deciding to go anyway. We will be staying right on the beach and doing all sorts of fun beachy things and probably a canopy tour, too. Cannot wait.
In the interim, though, bathing suit. *groan*

Today was exasperating. Thankfully, the reasons why it was exasperating were communicated in no uncertain terms. I am optimistic that the exasperation will soon abate.

Gaming
There is a nice big entry to come about the move and all that, but I'm trying to clear out my inbox right now and just realized I hadn't posted this yet. James and I were talking about how we do enjoy WoW and we especially enjoy playing with friends but we just don't have a million hours to get all the way to 70 where so many of our friends reside. So...
Anyone up for a specific-timeslot World of Warcraft group? Basic idea is that we all log on for a couple of hours at an arranged time each week (probably around 7-9pm EST some night of the week). We would select characters for complementary skills and professions and maybe use voice chat for raid but try to keep everyone in sync from a level perspective.
Then we can all do dungeons and stuff together and we'll be a complimentary group so it'll be fun.

She keeps switching for me. Randomly. I'll be looking at her and suddenly she'll be going the opposite direction. Earlier, I unfocused my eyes and saw double and one was going one way and the other was going the other way. I've always sort of known I was pretty much split down the middle between right- and left-brainedness.

In other news, I'm totally freaking exhausted. My eyes hurt. I've been working like a fiend all week. Going home early tonight and then tomorrow off (because I worked 12 hours on Monday instead of taking the holiday like the rest of my company).

I'm at my new job. It's the first day of work. One of the things they gave us was a floorplan of all of the floors. This contains a Visio drawing of the desk setups complete with names: first initial followed by last name.
I'm hunting around the tenth floor drawing, looking for my location, scanning the names out of curioisity (and to give me something to look at while the HR people flood us with information). My eyes move to the larger offices and fall upon a name:
C. Sawall
I'm like... whoa.
I couldn't help but look up this person on the company directory when I got my laptop. "C. Sawall" is indeed Catherine Sawall.
I work at the same company as my character. Freaky!
