There is a nice big entry to come about the move and all that, but I'm trying to clear out my inbox right now and just realized I hadn't posted this yet. James and I were talking about how we do enjoy WoW and we especially enjoy playing with friends but we just don't have a million hours to get all the way to 70 where so many of our friends reside. So...
Anyone up for a specific-timeslot World of Warcraft group? Basic idea is that we all log on for a couple of hours at an arranged time each week (probably around 7-9pm EST some night of the week). We would select characters for complementary skills and professions and maybe use voice chat for raid but try to keep everyone in sync from a level perspective.
Then we can all do dungeons and stuff together and we'll be a complimentary group so it'll be fun.
If you're interested, comment here, or send me an email. :)
A set WoW time would be awesome. I'm on Garona, but don't have a guild or anything there, so no stress about where or what side.
Sounds like a great idea. Pity I'm on an EU server and in a different time zone...

I'd love to do this except my WoW account went bye bye a while back for lack of me bothering to play. Mostly at the moment, I play Maple Story. Becuase, even though it makes me feel like every second person on there is secretly work for 'To catch a predator' and is horribly, horribly grinderiffic, it's free.
I have pretty much the same characters as Zan does. I have a couple on Rexxar(horde) and one on Proudmoore.
The whole point of making characters on Rexxar was exactly what you said here, to have a small group of friends to spend time with regularly, doing things together.
I can't tell you how many times I've started characters on a new server to be with friends. It seems /everyone/ I know is on a different server.
So come play on Rexxar with us. I have a 70, but I also have a 34 and I think almost everyone has a ton of alts.
That sounds like a much saner way to enjoy WoW than my way was. :)

I'm in, but the earliest I can do is 7:30 most nights.
Horde or Alliance?
What server?
I have Alliance guys over on Proudmoore (and a number of friends at all levels) and Horde over on Rexxar (which is where my guild, Cake or Death, is located, and we are small and cozy, with people playing at all levels).
