... can I explain something better in an email than I can on IM?
I just stopped a convo on IM with a coworker so that I could write them an email to explain and then went back to IM to ask her if she understood.
wtf?
In other news, I ran into a friend from hs, Jeni, on the way back to my office from lunch. Random!
I need to start packing this weekend. Or at least finish purging. T-10 days.

Well, at least for myself it's the ability to get a solid thought down without interruption or questions. Sometimes the thought it complex enough that you want to get it all out at once without intermittent questions in between. Questions afterword are fine, just in the interim can be maddening.
