The sky is deep blue, not at all hazy, no clouds. The sun is bright and entirely unobstructed, but not so strong as in the summer.
It's the type of day that makes you want to lift your face to the sky and smile.
I'm working from home today, so I ate lunch out by the river, in Nelson A. Rockefeller park (right in front of my apartment). Me, a few mothers and their children, people walking dogs, and anyone who could get out of the office for a few minutes. I would fall in love with this city if it were always this lovely out.
I'm going to miss living right on the river, in this strange, silent, sheltered, idyllic corner of Manhattan. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to live here.
