Pipe Organ Perfection
The new Arcade Fire CD is awesome. It's not officially out yet, but someone leaked mp3s from it and man oh man some of this stuff is good. Favorite song so far? Intervention. Followed by Black Mirror. Can't wait until this comes out officially. It's the kind of album that needs to be blasted at full volume. Any rock album with pipe organs is good by me.

I actually strongly associate the pipe organ with Oberlin every week they'd have the 'Friday Night Organ Pump' (or was it once a month?) where one of the organ students would have a mini recital at midnight in the chapel. Turnout wasn't always fabulous but the music would give you chills.
In other news, James just got back from Costa Rica. He loved it... and it's only 4.5/5 hours away. Can we say weekend break? Oh yes, we can. And we will.
It's warmed up a little here, thank God. We've learned that where we live in Battery Park City is about 10°F colder than the rest of the city due to the insane wind. Invigorating, right? Yeah, or something.
Oh God the pipe organs. Could it get any better? I'm going to wear this song out, I just know it.
Or is that even possible?
