Conversation with my dad, ten minutes ago
Me: Is mom there?
Dad: No.
Me: I need to talk to her.
Dad: Why do you need to talk to Mom?
Me: I don't want to go to my high school reunion.
Dad (in a completely uncomprehending tone of voice): Why would you want to go to your high school reunion?
I about lost it. It's true. Why would I want to go to my hs reunion??
I think that's what it's going to have to be. Though of course I'm feeling terribly fat and unglamorous lately, but I guess I just need to get over that. After all, most of it is attitude anyway, right?
I congratulate you on actually going. I entertained the idea for all of 10 minutes and then decided I hated them then and will hate them now. But do take pics, especially of the ones who got fat and fug, and then come meet me for drinks in the city for a laugh :)

To astonish them all with your beautiful self and glamourous, globetrotting life?
Petty vengeance and curiousity is really the only reason to go, in most cases.
