Venice pictures
In record time, really, I posted my Venice pictures. Woohoo. You may or may not have noticed, but I've moved the photo album functionality away from my site and over to SmugMug. It's a lot easier to use and you can even order prints. Woo. Also, I've uploaded a bunch more pictures, so take a look.
Anyway, Venice. It was lovely, just lovely. A few people have expressed confusion and incredulity that I would go to such a romantic city on my own, but, well, it's the best place I can think of for people watching and the shopping's pretty good, too.
The food, as well, was fantastic. I had lots of recommendations from Lollardfish, who lived in Venice for a while and pointed me in all the right directions.
Highlights of the trip include sitting out in the sunshine doing various things and the Guggenheim. I do love good 20th century art.
